Our Team

ACA Architects brings together expertise in architecture, spatial data capture, research, and co-design. We work collaboratively with clients, interest-holders, and end-users to create a shared understanding of place and deliver meaningful project outcomes.

Our team combines technical capability with a human-centred approach, integrating digital technologies, evidence-based design, and lived experience into every project. From data collection and analysis through to consultation, design, and delivery, we believe the best outcomes emerge when diverse perspectives are brought together.

Rich has 16+ years of experience designing and delivering projects that better the lives of families, vulnerable people, students, and individuals. He has worked on projects ranging from single-family homes to schools for students with additional needs, to accommodation for women who are homeless; with a common goal of creating spaces that promote independence, agency, and a high quality of life.

Jordan Rickard-Smith

3DLS Partner

Jordan brings a unique blend of technical expertise and design acumen to 3DLS (our LiDAR spatial data capture service stream). With a Master of Architecture, and a prior qualification in mechanical engineering, Jordan is well-versed in 3D laser and image scanning, as well as BIM modelling. As a valued partner, Jordan elevates our team with a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge technologies and a passion for architectural innovation.
